The findings this was built on
  • Shoppers on a deadline abandoned the list because it was ordered by when items were added, not by where they are.
  • Nobody could tell which aisle they were standing in — store signage is above head height and out of view once you're in the aisle.
  • Participants wanted to know how much of the trip was left, not how many items were left.
